Educational Excursion to KidZania

St. Aloysius School Educational excursion was arranged for KidZania, on 29th August 2016.

KidZania is a global indoor theme park for families. KidZania gives children an environment that allows them to do what naturally comes to them i.e. role-playing by mimicking real-world adult roles. This indoor theme park with paved roads, buildings, vehicles, buildings, and a fully functional economy gives kids a slice of real world. KidZania offers 100+ role-playing adventure activities for kids. Kids can try out being firefighters, pilots, journalists & much more in a kid-sized environment just for them!

Children & teachers were given a bracelet to wear around their wrist with a radio frequency antenna and an identification chip installed. The RFID bracelet helps one to track kids inside KidZania and drop messages for them, as well.

Some of the activities that children involved in were: Animation Studio, Art & Craft Studio, Aviation Academy, Bank & ATM, Buscuit factory, Beauty Salon, Burger Shop, Acting Academy, Air Conditioning, Archaeological Site, Court House, Culinary School, Dance Academy, Department Store, Emergency Hospital Room etc. Kids made money by working at various departments and could also buy things for themselves from the money they earned.

Kids learn how to handle money and appreciate its value as they use KidZania’s own currency, the kidZo. Kids learn to establish a relationship with the world they live in, understand reality, build their identity and become self-dependent.

A sumptuous and nutritional lunch was provided to both children and teachers.

It was an an enjoyable Annual School Excursion.
