Republic Day Celebration 2016
Republic Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm and national favour by the staff and the students of St. Aloysius High School, Bandra. The national flag was unfurled by our manager Rev. Fr. William Athaide followed by the march past by the students of the secondary section. This was followed by a cultural programme.
A speech in English was delivered by Velancia Quinny of the secondary section. Fatima Shaikh of std. IV delivered a speech in Marathi. The secondary choir entertained the crowd with a Hindi patriotic song .
People enjoyed an action song by the students of Mount Carmel Kindergarten. The manager, Rev. Fr. William Athaide addressed the audience on the importance of values and also prayed for the country.
The programme ended with a vote of thanks by the primary Headmistress of the Primary section Mrs. Brenda Pinto.
