St. Aloysius High School Anthem
Some people that are, think knowledge is power
And learning is life at its best,
But if we are wise the treasure to prize
“Tis CHARACTER that is the test.
Character that is the test,
Aloysians know that’s the best,
No doubt we’re learning, soon to be earning
But character that is our quest.
Some others there are say money is power,
For wealth they would barter their soul,
But if we’d employ the best road to joy,
“Tis HONESTY lead to that goal.
Honesty, that is the test,
Aloysians know that’s the best,
Money and fame have oft’ led to shame.
But honesty that is our quest.
So surely by far ‘bove money and power,
And knowledge and all that we crave,
‘Tis wealth that we find, in the heart and the mind
In the God-given soul we must save.
Loyalty that is the test,
Aloysians give of their best
Devotion to duty, to God and our country
Will win for us Heaven our quest.
